June Ellis is an artist and freelance writer. She enjoys painting the beauty that surrounds her. Living in rural Prince Edward Island all her life has given her a special connection to the Island’s beauty. This is captured through her oil paintings of the sandy shores, light houses and farm lands.
June lives with her husband, Glen, and their six children on their 320 acre family farm in East Bideford, PEI. She spends time in the summer camping with her family on the peaceful beaches of her Island.
June has an eye for capturing soft colours in her paintings while using only three colours (red, blue and yellow) and white.
