In the Studio

I recently did some changes to this painting. I think I made it come more alive and inviting. It will soon be listed on my website.

What's your go-to beach on Prince Edward Island? I'd love to hear about your hidden gems.  Drop me an email with your beach favorites! To see more of my paintings, drop over to my website.

Most Recent Work

I was starting to run out of ideas of what to paint, so I reached out to one of my Facebook Groups for photos of captivating Island scenes that I could transform into art. The response was overwhelming, and I'm excited to share a sneak peak into the upcoming paintings that I will create.

Keep an eye out for these upcoming pieces, each inspired by the incredible beauty of Prince Edward Island.

Stay tuned for behind-the-scenes glimpses and updates on the progress of these artworks. I will be making posts on my Facebook/Instagram pages (June Ellis Artist).

Thank you for being a valued part of my artistic journey.

I'm thrilled to announce that one of my paintings "Cape Tryon" has found a wonderful new home.  It is on its way to Ontario.  It is so rewarding to have my artwork appreciated.

Tips for the Artist in You

There is a debate among artists whether one should paint over an older painting. I think that is up to the individual.

Personally, I have painted over some of my paintings, whether making a few adjustments or painting completely over them and starting fresh.  Some have worked out and some are still as miserable looking as the first painting.

One has to step back and see what is wrong with the painting and if a few fixes can be made that is great.  Others need a complete overhaul and some can't be saved. Best to leave them for awhile and then decide.
