This newsletter is a bit different from my usual ones. I wanted to share with you my wonderful once in a lifetime experience - Sister Trip Across Canada. (and no we didn't fight even once) We started on our across Canada rode trip on April 23rd, leaving from Ottawa. I have some photos of the journey. Hoping you enjoy them.
Canada Goose in Wawa, Ontario. Yes there was snow on the ground :(
Winnie the Pooh in White River, Ontario
We learned some history on Winnie the Pooh. The black bear was purchased in White River by a solder from Winnipeg. He took her overseas and left it in the care of a zoo in London, England, where she was watched and loved by many including author A.A. Milne and his son Christopher. And as they say, the rest is history. It was a beautiful true story.

Lake Superior, Ontario by Fort Francis
Brandon Manitoba
Meeting up with my youngest son Devon in Brandon, Manitoba. And it was his 26th birthday the next day.

The largest TeePee in the world, Alberta
Visit with my oldest sister in Calgary
On to the Rockies
Crows Nest Pass, BC. We also went to the museum at Franks Slide. Very historical - where the mountain came down and buried part of the town - lost lives and heros who helped to save lives.

Flying through the Rockies from Nelson by way of Vancouver to Whitecourt, Alberta
Visiting my daughter in Whitecourt, Alberta. It was a great seeing her again - so far away.
Always Nice to Be Home
And my journey ended with flying into Prince Edward Island on May 9th. It is always nice to see our little Island from the air. Now back to teaching art classes and getting my paintings, prints, notecards and bookmarks ready for the gift shops. And I have to get a painting finished.
